Ranch Chicken Tacos
Happy Tuesday! Ready for a simple 5 minute recipe to put in the slow-cooker before heading to work on Wednesday morning!? Who doesn’t love tacos? Ranch Chicken Tacos are simple and quick to make. Simply place 3-5 (frozen or fresh) chicken breasts in slow-cooker (depending on how much you will be needing), along with 1 packet of ranch dressing mix, 1 packet of taco seasoning, and 1 can of chicken broth. Turn on low setting for 6-8 hours, and it is ready when you get home! Just shred and serve with tortillas, rice, beans, and other desired toppings.
3-5 chicken breasts, frozen or fresh
1 packet of ranch dressing mix
1 packet taco seasoning
2 cups/1 can chicken broth
You can easily put multiple preparations of these into freezer bags for quick dumping into the slow-cooker before leaving for work. You can also use fresh chicken and cook this a lot faster on high for 2-3 hours when you get home if you do not want to leave slow-cooker on while you are gone, or forgot to put it in slow-cooker before work . We like to make these at work because they are so simple, contain little ingredients, and are yummy!
Today, I made them on salad to cut the carbs, just as easy: Taco Salad!
A quick and easy clean-up tip: Use Slow-Cooker Liners and there’s hardly any clean up to do! Keeps the slow-cooker clean for you!
